Kotsadm pod fails with "app has no downstreams"

I can’t deploy releases anymore. The kotsadm pod doesn’t start and I see the following error in the logs:

2023/07/31 17:58:13 kotsadm version v1.101.1
2023/07/31 17:58:13 error bootstrapping
panic: failed to load encryption keys: failed to get latest app sequence: failed to get latest downstream version: app has no downstreams

This occurs on multiple channels of the same app. Things were fine about a week ago.

Any idea how to troubleshoot this?

Hi,

The first thing to do here is create a support bundle - see the docs for instructions.

The analysis for the support bundle might give you the information needed, however if not, you should be able to open a support issue with Replicated to get some specific assistance.
