Working with Sequences in KOTS Console

Hi,

Some customers don’t install new versions when it is released and instead change configs which creates new sequences in the KOTS console. So the newer version with the older sequence doesn’t have the configuration changes.

So is there a way to to delete the sequences from KOTS console and pull the new versions again to have a better organised sequences?

Another question is, how can I delete a sequence which is not going to be deployed? Let’s say in the Version History, I want to have the latest sequence as the deployed version. This is more relevant to Airgap Installs.

I’ll assist us with this question.

As of now, in KOTS latest version 1.124.15, there is no direct way to delete old app sequences from the KOTS Admin Console UI. The recommended approach is to edit the configuration for the newer version and deploy it, which will generate a new sequence number.
