I have an embedded cluster installation that is not carrying over configuration values from the previous version (all config options are reset to default or empty when all were previously set) when attempting to update. I’m wondering under what circumstances this occurs? Here is some more context on the updates:
- I’ve moved the customer from Unstable to another channel and back again to my Unstable channel
- Recent updated releases in the Unstable channel have updated the version of Embedded Cluster from
1.14.2+k8s-1.29to1.19.0+k8s-1.30 - Config options have been added, but no changes to existing config definitions
Let me know if this would be better handled as a support ticket, but I figured knowing when to expect this kind of behavior may help others.
